Alright, this is more for the mac users then anything else. I just figured out how to fix my addOns and I thought I should share the knowledge. When you download your addOns and put them into applications/worldofwarcraft/interface/addOns make sure that you open the folder and put all the folders inside into the addOns folder rather then leaving them compressed. Then they will show up and work perfectly.
