Now that you have your character and a profession in mind, go ahead and start playing. Once you get to a large city, talk to a guard to find the trainer for your chosen profession. Other players are a good resource too. Quests are by far the fastest way to level up, and raids and dungeons provide the best quality armor. The armor is all color coded. In order from worst to best it goes: grey, white, green, blue, then purple. The rarer the item, the better it will be and the stronger your character will be.
